Following on from the success of my Autumn Cookbook Haul, I am now pleased to bring you the winter edition which features some of the most recently released cookbooks that I think you should buy, read, enjoy and cook from. What pleases me most about this winter cookbook haul, is that two of the books have been written or edited by my friends.
The first book is Hungry Healthy Happy: How to nourish your body without giving up the foods you love by Dannii Martin, a fellow food blogger who I met Blog On MOSI last year. Her blog also called Hungry Healthy Happy is full of healthy recipes and tells the story of her amazing weight loss. I have already the Mediterranean Cod Bake from the book and I am planning on making her Chicken Tikka Marsala soon too.
The second book is Signature Chefs – Recipes From The Heart of England And Wales which has been edited by James Day of Eat The Midlands who have been at the forefront of the Midlands dining scene for many years. This book contains a selection of recipes from some of the finest Midlands and Welsh restaurants and is ideal for any budding foodie that wants to recreate restaurant food at home. I will be sharing a recipe from this book in another post and giving you a chance to win your own copy too.
The other books featured in the haul are:
My Kind of Food: Recipes I Love to Cook at Home by John Torode
Hotel Chocolat: A New Way of Cooking with Chocolate by Hotel Chocolat (I will be giving away a copy of this book soon too!)
Make it Easy Cookbook by Jane Lovett
Riverford companion: autumn & winter veg by Riverford
What cookbooks have you been buying recently? Which cookbook is your favourite one featured in the haul and why?
Stay tuned for my next cookbook haul in the spring!
