Jo Cooks: Chorizo, Red Wine and Pea Risotto

This is first of hopefully many posts where I will be filmed actually cooking in my kitchen. Today I am making Chorizo, Red Wine and Pea Risotto. This was originally a Rachel Allen dish, however I made an adapted version of it a while ago here and loved it and have made it many times since.  The chorizo in this recipe comes from The Bath Pig who I met at the BBC Winter Good Food Show. It was yummy!  I hope you enjoy my little video. I was very nervous making it. All constructive feedback is welcome.  Many thanks to Marie for doing the camera work. It is much appreciated. :-)

    Nicely done! I didn’t know that tip about letting the risotto sit for a few minutes at the end, so thanks for that!

    Great video! Love the way you can hear the risotto squelching – you don’t get that on most posts! And the recipe looks fab. I don’t make enough risottos and this one has a lot of my favourite things ever in, so will have to give it a go.

    Hello Jo and Marie, I subscribe via the RSS for this blog. Love your video, it is very real, like going round someone’s house. I see these plastic US food marketing so-called blogs all the time, they are not intimate and you can’t really see what cooking the food looks like. This is much better. Hope you do many more.
